Back up Doulas

In the event, unlikely as it may be, that I am unable to attend your birth, I have a network of incredible Doulas to choose from so that labor support is still provided.  Below are a few of these great women!

Evelyn Bussell, Dona Trained Doula and Child Birth Educator

ShortHair

“After receiving my training through DONA, I am now attending births in the Triangle area.  It is my hope to provide support to moms and couples as they walk the journey of childbirth.  I aim to support them through education of their options by providing them resources, information and referrals to other birth professionals, as well as to support them physically and emotionally during the actual labor.” ~ Evelyn  Learn more about Evelyn here

Molly Sundstrom, HBCE and Dona Trained Doula

“After my daughter’s birth I felt like I had to share our experience! In April of 2008 I trained with Marie Mongan, the founder of HypnoBirthing, and became certified as a childbirth educator. I have a bachelor’s degree in Health Education and a certification as a Health Education Specialist… After being present at the birth of my friend’s beautiful little boy I realized that I have a passion for supporting family’s during birth. Having support and encouragement can make a difference for mother’s before, during, and after their baby’s birth.”  ~ Molly Learn more about Molly here
