HypnoBirthing is taught by Elizabeth Oldham CD(DONA), HCHD, HBCE; an experienced and qualified HypnoBirthing educator and birth doula. 

Classes are designed to bring together the dynamics of HypnoBirthing with practical advice specific to the birthing environment local to the DC Metro area… focusing on the birthing family as the center of the mental and physical experience. Creating Your Calm is now accepting enrollment for private and group HypnoBirthing courses.  Sign up for announcements fromCreating Your Calm Blog to know the latest class schedules. Refresher courses are also available to individuals who have previously taken a full course with  Creating Your Calm or any other certified HypnoBirthing instructor.   All group HypnoBirthing courses are taught in Alexandria Virginia unless otherwise posted.

Class location: Body in Balance Center 1423 Powhatan Street Suite 7 Alexandria, VA 22314 Private classes are held in your home or other location you feel comfortable Please contact us if you are nearing your due date, are pushed for time or live outside of the class area to discuss alternative schedules. Although Creating Your Calm is highly focused on family interaction, we ask that children do not attend any HypnoBirthing® courses. Concentration and relaxation are vital during the course.
