While I am working on writing Izzy’s birth story I thought I would share a few pictures from our maternity shoot with Lillie Elliot. let me tell you a bit about Lillie before I share the photos with you. Not only is Lillie a fantastic photographer, she is also such a dear friend to me and Ross. I have a special place for her in my heart. She is spunky, smart, beautiful, sincere, adventurous, talented, open minded yet opinionated… I really could go on and on. She is someone I trust my children to be around. She is someone I love to be around. I am 100% comfortable with her and that is such a wonderful feeling.
Now about her photography: Visit her website here and let it speak for itself. I mentioned above that Lillie is adventurous; She has literally traveled around the globe documenting her experiences through her lens. Her ability to capture emotion with a camera is phenomenal and breathtaking. So stop reading this now and go to www.LillieElliot.com to check out some of her work! I promise you will not be disappointed.
Now about the maternity shoot: We had the best time!!!!! We plundered through clothes (most of the pictures were done in my moms vintage clothing) and caught up on gossip. We laughed about how my body was changing during this pregnancy… I think the size of my boobs scared her a bit!!! It was such a great evening catching up with a friend and celebrating the life within me! We both wanted the photos to be a bit more artsy instead of “cutesy”. Lillie totally saw my vision and transformed it into something far better than I ever dreamed… did I mention that she is an amazing photographer!
Now for the pictures: I hope you love them as much as I do!

Absolutely beautiful photos! You look gorgeous and you are correct – your photographer is extremely talented. I commend you and am envious on your choice to document this most precious time in photos. Congrats to you, your husbands and adorable little boys on the new addition to your family. God bless and best wishes!
*husband! (not plural) Lol
Thank you so much Jamie! I have stepped a bit out of my comfort zone by showing so mush skin… but I am so passionate about the beauty of pregnancy… it is worth it!
